Two Down, Three To Go

I survived two book signings today! The time goes by so fast when I get to talk to people about my books & I really DO have fun! I have 3 more to go...
Tues., May 3 from 6 - 8 at DiMaggio's in Highland,
Sat., May 7 from 11 - 1 at Pizza Man in Troy,
Sat., May 21 from 10 - 12 at Walgreens in Highland.
Both books are for sale at the signings & include matching bookmarks!
In about a week, I'll post photos from each signing on my website.

World News

I missed the live showing of "the wedding" this morning...but saw the TWO kisses on the balcony. I think we all know whose wedding I'm referring to!

Can you believe all the tech and internet problems this week? Scary. Several affected my status, especially Verizon Wireless being DOWN for about 22 hours!!! That's how I get on the internet! And Yahoo Mail was down...I have an email account with them.

Another Store Selling My Books

Walgreens in Highland is now selling my books as of today! You can't miss 'em as you walk in the front door! Woohoo! Also, they are hosting a book signing (my 5th signing location) on Sat., May 21 from 10 - 12. As with all the other locations, both books will be available, signed & include free bookmarks.

Saturday Book Signings (+ others)

Sat., April 30 - Book Signings at two spots:
Marine Library from 10 - noon.
Box TV in Highland from 2:00 - 3:30.

Two more book signings will roll around on:
Tues, May 3 at DiMaggio's in Highland from 6pm to 8pm.
Sat., May 7 at Pizza Man in Troy from 11 - 1.

Feedback, Storms & Promo Info

I love hearing feedback about my books - obviously the positive kind! (I did today!) What author doesn't? It makes me smile, brings tears to my eyes, my heart thumps faster with excitement and inspires me to want to write more! To create an emotional response in a reader, to know you've got them wrapped around your finger in suspense, is thrilling!

On another note, these crazy storms we've had recently and more to come, are...well...crazy! Sick of it. It's as if we are being punished for having a nice day here or there. Can't we just have spring and if it rains, that's okay, but no more severe weather as in: hail-producing, gale-force and straight-line winds, massive temperature swings, torrential downpours and tornados! The destruction and loss (all across the country!) have been overwhelming!

Promo Info: I'll be putting up flyers in Troy on Thursday for the book signing at Pizza Man on Sat., May 7 from 11 - 1. Can't wait!
And the Troy Times-Tribune alerted me that an article about my book/me will be in this Thursday's paper (April 21). I'll be nabbing some extra copies of that! Also, I will scan the article to place on my website.

Comings & Goings

Sent out 4 copies of Unknown Scent-Werewolf Series-Book 2 last week to book reviewers &/or book bloggers. Printed out more bookmarks. Created a sign/flyer for Box TV in Highland where my book is now available for sale! Waiting to hear about another possible location in Highland where book may be sold. Really needing to get back to actual writing again! Plastered Marine & Highland with a total of 24 flyers promoting the upcoming book signings I've scheduled. If you see me out & about & would like to buy either of my books, gently tackle me because I should have copies stuffed in my car =) I don't bite - even if my characters do!

Unknown Scent Updates

Unknown Scent-Werewolf Series-Book Two is showing up on Amazon.com now as a pre-order as it is still in the printing/shipping stage. I was told it could take a few weeks to completely show up on the online ordering sites - at least you can pre-order thru Amazon right now, though!!
I have 3, probably 4, book signings setup. Within the next few days I'll post the locations, dates, times for these selling/signings events. BOTH books will be available.
Been requesting book reviews from book reviewers & book bloggers ("any" out there interested?). When I receive my copies, I will mail out to a limited number.
Spent loads of time updating my websites & all my profiles & such at social networking sites.
Been creating printed promo material for new book...
